A wee bit nippy

It can get quite the cold thing out ere on the peninsula, but ooh it does it so well!

A little Celtic-flavor

Here's images of an elaborate Celtic-flavored little number
that I kinda got carried away with, I rather like this one!
If you would like to see these above images in more detail, just click on them.

Other Felting projects

I thought you people may like to see some further example of other of my felt projects, so here they are.
The following images are mostly felt work that I have made for gifts . I had loads of fun making them
for friends and family last Christmas. They seem to have grown more and more detailed as time went on!

This little duck guy needed to stand on spindly
legs, so wire was needed all through his body to add support.

A smattering more Art

I thought I'd throw some more of my works onto this blog for viewers
(emphasis on some, loads more where these come from).
As I appear to be one of those people who love creating,
there will of course be a show of other work in future posts,
so sit back and enjoy.

Airbrush artist

I would like to introduce you to one of my favorite artists.
He's probably Australasia's most skilled airbrush artist's.
But he also produces some stunning drawings too.
Do check out his site and you're bound to agree with me.

( I confess, 'I'm bias', as he's a good friend and contemporary in art. )

Most of the work
Dean Lawrence does
is on bikes
and the bikes
he has worked on
still continue to
win awards.

I want one!

RARE BOOKSHOPE CATS
These photo were taken a while back. The rare cats of the 'bookus-gardian's genus'. Quickly taken using my phone camera, through a window of the olde bookshop in Banks Peninsula's great capital Lyttleton.

Felt like it

Now online via Felt
Finally I have put some o ma wee creations. These little chaps are Big & Little Squinty Mc cat-critters, they are an endearing Uncle an Nephew .
Yes i promise this is only the start there will be more critters in one medium or another .

Big-Squinty loves showing off
to Little Squinty
with his balancing skills.

Eye do like this one, even if eye say so myself

A drawing in trusty pen,
that has since been adapted into 3D
and one day hopefully cast.
Can't say that eyeballs in one's cuppa
will take off though.
I wonder if you can cast marshmellos
into an eyeball shape?

Another great reason why I luv Banks Peninsula

Everywhere ya turn round here there's inspiration and gorgeousness, don't ya rekon all you Peninsulites?
